Who’s behind Thinking Middle East?
Paul Salem, Vice President for International Engagement and former President and CEO of the Middle East Institute, Washington DC.
Paul is a well-known Middle East expert. He is the author of multiple volumes on political transition, regional conflict, and international relations of the region. Raised in Beirut during the Lebanese civil war, Salem’s analysis draws on decades of academic, policy and personal experience. He is based in the Middle East.
